As a Mental Health Therapist, I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment for individuals and couples to navigate life’s challenges. Using a blend of humor, curiosity, reflection, and gentle yet direct challenges, I help clients uncover and understand the deeper parts of themselves. My approach is designed to foster self-awareness, initiate healing, and create lasting change.

I offer a safe and supportive space where your well-being takes center stage—where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges without fear of judgment. Through reflecting on early emotional patterns and behaviors, we will uncover how they shape your present experiences. I believe true healing begins with understanding, and my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered on your journey toward growth and change.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, ensuring that your experiences are valued and your voice is heard. In our sessions, you'll find a listening ear and a compassionate heart, as well as practical tools to foster healing and growth. Together, we will set meaningful goals and work toward lasting change.

I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help reshape negative thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and distress tolerance, and mindfulness techniques to cultivate present-moment awareness, relaxation, and resilience.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment Options

Payment is due at time of service. Choose from various payment methods including all major credit cards, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Savings Accounts, cash, and Venmo.

Fees Structure

My fees are transparent and competitive. 50 minute individual sessions are priced at $125, while couple sessions are available at $145. I offer a sliding scale for eligible individuals.

Cancellation Policy

​If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours beforehand.  If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.

Insurance

I do not accept insurance at this time, and many of my clients actually prefer it that way! Here are some of the advantages:

 

  • You won’t have a diagnosis label permanently attached to your health record.

  • Your records are protected, which means all information about you, including very personal information, cannot be obtained by the insurance company.

  • Your care is not dictated by the insurance company, but by the collaborative efforts formed by my professional expertise and your personal preferences and goals.

  • Lisa B. Therapy will gladly provide a superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider.
